'How Do I Get Down?' is an original painting of a field mouse climbing in a wheat field. It is a monotype print combined with an ink and watercolour illustration of the little mouse . When I initially painted this design I had in mind that he had shimmied up the wheat, caught you looking at him and then froze but one lady at one of my fairs commented it looked as though the wheat was getting further and further apart. Due to the monotype processes involved there are indentations in the paper where you can see the imprints the wheat leaves when going through the printing press. This gives the painting added depth and texture. This painting is sold mounted but unframed.
